Welcome to the mountain ski club web site.

This Club was set up by a group of friends who decided it would be fun to go on a Skiing trip together. It needed to be a trip that catered for both skiers and boarders; all levels of experience from beginners to advanced, and also be suitable for singles, couples and families. When we enquired about package holidays we discovered that this could be a very expensive trip, however un-deterred by this we started doing some homework on resorts, places to stay etc, and discovered that by putting our own package together we could save money and get something that catered for everyone in our groups needs. We finally decided on Les Arcs in France.

We all had a fabulous time on this trip and decided that we should make it a regular event, which we have done for many years, we then thought why not start a ski club and try to encourage other people to join and come along and enjoy the same benefits that we have enjoyed and that’s when we decided to start this web-site, our aim is to encourage more like minded people to get together and enjoy reasonable ski trips.

We then thought it would be a shame just to keep to winter holidays, why not hold events right through the year where people can get together and socialise with the people in the club and experience fun days out, weekends away etc. We have already had some ideas on things to do, which can be found under events, any further suggestions would be welcomed.

Finally to finish this welcome page another Skiing trip has been arranged for 2010 this time to Les Arcs and we are pleased to say quite a few more of our friends have decided to go and we hope that everyone has a wonderful time and we look forward to seeing the pictures.
